Vaulted Roof Lights

Vaulted skylights are designed for installation on an existing curb on a flat or low-sloping roof. The skylight consists of a welded aluminum construction with arched mullions, polycarbonate glass and bar caps on the mullions. These types of skylights are very useful for illuminating corridors and halls. A variety of arched beams can be used, from low vaults with a vaulted transparent or translucent area at the top to hemispherical skylights with glazed vertical ends. They cover the walkways connecting the building and can be connected to the vertical walls at one or both ends. The vault radius is usually determined by architectural conditions or aesthetic requirements. The curb size is determined by the skylight size and structural requirements. Low-sloping or large-radius arches may require wide curbs, while shorter span hemispherical vaults may not require more than a standard 2 x curb plumb from the top of the pavement level to the ground.

Inter-Panel Polycarbonate Skylights

Interpanel polycarbonate sheets are used between sandwich panels when high heat insulation, UV protection and durability are required, and provide a permanent and solid solution in places where light and illumination are needed. Interpanel polycarbonate sheets are placed along the entire length of the roof slope from the ridge to the gutter on flat roofs covered with sandwich panels. They are preferred with easy and fast assembly techniques. Different expansions of polycarbonate and metal sheets should be calculated separately for each type of roof sandwich panel. Secure connection is possible with assembly connection details designed separately for each type of roof sandwich panel.

Trapezoidal Section Polycarbonate Skylights

It is a skylight system with high resistance to wind and snow load. Thanks to UV protection, it does not turn yellow for many years. It can be produced in the requested length. Trapezoidal section polycarbonate sheets offer different usage advantages compared to inter-panel polycarbonate sheets. When used in long openings, inter-panel polycarbonate sheets, in line with the ease of assembly, cause problems in terms of water insulation during assembly. Trapezoidal section polycarbonate sheets solve possible water leakage problems.
